After leaving her job in finance in 2019, Britney started teaching dumpling-making classes with a goal to use cooking to connect and build bridges across people and cultures. During the pandemic, she shifted gears and started selling food from her home kitchen, introducing the world to her savory handmade Bao Bae "Sheng Jian Baos" (生煎包). Her cooking quickly expanded into weekly popups, including the creation of Blends Sweets' cheesecake baos. These sweet baos, filled with housemade gooey fillings like "Cookie Butter Cheesecake" serve as a tasty example of Britney's style of "blending" East and West flavors into one delicious Bao 😋
