Tiffany Liu - The Morning Rounds

From the Artist:

A self-indulgent sculpture series depicting childhood memories spent in my mother’s hometown of Hualien, Taiwan. My sister and I especially loved visits to Dongdamen Night Market, riding with our grandparents to the market, and getting treated to Doraemon shaped cakes from the local food cart. The format is inspired by mystery boxes and miniature toy sets that we used to admire amongst the various night market prizes-none of which we ever did win.
